There's really nothing special about these recipes, other than the fact that I have used them and probably enjoyed them at some time or another. If I hadn't enjoyed them, I wouldn't bother to put them up here! It will probably be a very rare occurrence that a recipe is of my own making, but I'll try to give credit where it's due when I remember where it came from. These recipes are here as much for my own good as to share them with others. This way I don't have to keep some skunky piece of paper (with various ingredient splatters all over them) and can just browse to the appropriate page (in another room) and have access to the recipes.

This comes pretty much directly from the Apple episode of Good Eats (What was the name of that episode?) and while it is more trouble than just buying a jar of whatever at the grocery store, it turns out pretty darn good.
